was on track at Donington last week.

Couldn't keep up with the 231bhp tubby or the standard NA. Both on bridgies. Mines a 255bhp SC. So it just prove a decent (or in my case a crap) driver makes all the difference whatever you go for.

I agree with the above all to do with the driver IMO :)

Kind of on topic...

Do the tuned tubbys get many boost leaks etc. I went for the NA as my highly tuned TT got to a point where I was splitting hoses or going in to limp mode all the time. Got bored of constantly playing find the leak!

I bought mine standard and I've been through stg 2,3 and now 4 I've not had any boost leaks, fingers crossed anyway :)

Give and take overtakes at or around the legal limit is where I notice the difference. Mark was chasing my car in hoon and whereas my overtakes (in an NA) had to be planned he could just nip by where he wanted.

However we did 700 odd miles over a weekend on the best roads in Scotland with na turbo and supercharged cars and I cant remember anyone climbing out saying "I need more power to keep up"

More talent maybe but not more power :D

Just too polite to say anything :P

:yeahthat:

Also driving fast on the road is a million miles away from driving fast on a track. Not many pot holes, deep puddles, off cambers, blind bends and things coming the other way,not to mention the wild life we spent all weekend dodging on the track:lol:

Marks is not standard and by some.

But on last years hoon I remember Mark just pulling out and overtaking me and two other na s up a hill in the blink of an eye and we had ours balls out but having a lot more fun obviously working the cars hard while he drifted along
