Saw this yesterday and phoned the guy. Self maintained by last 2 owners as far as service history goes. Any opinions would be much appreciated. Oh.. He sent me pics of the interior and it looks gorg. Carbon centre console and door panels and what looks like dash inserts /panels.

What on earth is the Heath Robinson contraption in the boot?

All look good condition tbh, all about same mileage & all about price and all with hardtops I think? So pretty much take prefered colour? - On the yellow one though, the - I presume - heatsheild for the exhaust in the boot looks a bit nasty but apart from that looks good.

I can only imagine what that 20p plastic part would cost from Vauxhall if it got lost / damaged... hence the home-made lock cover.

There is a pistonheads meet at beaulieu on the 23rd of february, about 5 or so VX's going, pop along if you can make it and i'm sure you'll get a ride in one and a chance to have a look over some and talk to the owners.

Might have to attend, cheers for the info. :-)

Oooh, I wonder if that's LunaS's old car? It must have a trick/bastardised exhaust manifold like the Weapon-R on there to need the boot cutting out to make it fit and his had one and was an LY.

certainly is his old car, running my old TMS mapped ecu. It also has cams, valves, balancer delete, LSJ injectors, new chain kit etc and running about 200bhp

however it looks like someone has removed the intake pipe and fitted a crap standard item, so that will reduce bhp somewhat

Wow! Not seen one in that state before. The current owner did come back to me about the boot lock cover.... Due to the 4-2-1 exhaust that's been fitted. I've arranged a test drive of a black VXT that Plans are selling for somebody at Dunsfold. Hopefully let me take it round Top Gears track ;-) It's over my budget but hopefully a deal could be done if it's as good as advertised, I'll post the link later.

If it was Craig's I'd car then it was immaculate when he had it.....can't get into ph to see how much had changed but it was a straight and well known car.

Ill give him a nudge to come onto this thread.

In that case it's a cracking buy......assuming the current owner hasn't spaded it into a tree.

you can see its pretty immaculate in those pics There aren't many that look like that with the clam off. its a shame the boot cover thing is a bit of mess though.

According to the advert though the front clam was replaced after a bump. If I was interested in buying I would ask if it was a cat D.
