Yes, made no difference at all and I didn't want to put any inside the cap which could act as a flange and stop it being air tight. I certainly wouldn't spray under it.

Planning to do my side grilles how easy are they to remove? Best done off the car I figure or it'll clog up. I'm in the middle of doing my mirror housings are we speak. 4 coats are on waiting for 5th then itll cure overnight.

Not too hard to remove just one pop rivet keeping them in place (possibly have sticky foam pads down the side as back up you'll need to prize the rivets out. I got a friendly mechanic to do them and then fit them back again as I don't have a rivet gun.

They look fiddly and I don't have anything that fits that little 3 pronged rivet head.

I did my drivers side mirror housing, now drying over night. I'm starting to get much better at the finish.

Need to decide what to do with the actual mirror backs now. Dip or carbon...

Try the actual casing with the spray. If you don't like it just change it for carbon.

When you say 'its easy to rub off'... Lets just say, purely for sake of arguement, one plasti-diped the plastic door seals; how easy would it be to rub off? And also on the dash etc? Could someone literally rub the stuff off the car? Or is it pretty solid on there?

If you rub your finger over your skin with enough pressure to make it stick and skip, I'd say it'd rub off with that amount of pressure.

From their website, it increases the bond by 400%. Not needed; just helps toughen things up. Might give it a try.... might. What was the delivery time like?

Did you prep the surface at all or just straight on?

Probably a stupid question, please forgive me I'm new! Why would you not just remove the "V" part of the grill leaving behind just the meshed section which I'm assuming would then all be black? Or is removing the V not as simple as I'm probably wrongly assuming it might be!?
