That looks like a piece of cake to repair, reletively speaking. If you have that bit that's missing from the middle underside, you're laughing! There's probably less labour in that than prepping an MVS clam by the sounds of things

as above, probably easier to repair that clam, the mvs bumper repair section could be chopped up for the missing bits

Ahh that's good to hear! I think i will send the clam to BOT to repair. i'm just worried about it being weak if not done properly. i want a good finish as i'm fussy when it comes to paint work so giving it to a specialist is the way froward. I've sent them an email but no reply as yet. Any idea on costs for the front clam repair? I was thinking about £500 fitted, sound about right? ps i dont have the missing section, i could go hunting if you think it would make a difference?

It would certainly help speed up the repair as they wouldn't have to fab a repair section, but then again, it could be in 20 bits. Maybe pop past tomorrow for a quick look in the daylight/safety of quieter traffic. I'd say you wouldn't be too far off at that price, maybe a touch dearer but with the benefit of perhaps a reduced rate on a few touch-ups if required, seeing as they have the paint mixed up etc...

Think i'm going to take it to BOT for repairs, just not too sure how to get it there. My brother has a flatbed trailer at work but it has no ramps! Does anyone have a trailer down south i could use? Is there anyone on this forum that works at Back on Track?

May have one now but it's always good to have another option, I'm based in New Milton which is the New Forest near Lymington. taken the clam off now but the sills will need doing so it makes sense to trailer it up.

Thanks very much for your help.
