Not for a few months yet...

Since it won't turn a wheel under its own power for at least 3 months.

As I said before there are 2 recomended combinations, vx-performance even tell you on the page where wheels are for sale. Other sizes generally have not been tried because the either don't fit, look wrong or cause probs with abs. If you dont want to go for the recomended sizes then someone will have to take a gamble. These wheels are not a new thing, I've had mine fitted for 3.5 years and the euro owners for much longer. I didn't find it that hard to use a tyre size calc and make my choice. If you are not sure use recomended sizes.

I shall comment no more on this subject and be gone from this place, apologising profusely for having entered yet another tyre discussion on this forum. Oh the shame of it all. Martin S

Would I be stupid running the federals as my one and only set of wheels, being as they are a more track focused tyre? Weekend car, off road most of winter, few Trackdays plus the odd hoon hopefully. Doesnt usually go out in the wet unless I'm caught out or it's a wet track. I know some of you have two or even three sets of wheels.

I used my Federals as my only set for 12months.  I did 1 trackday in which they were very impressive IMO, but seemed to be more than sufficient, for my driving style, on the road, in all weather conditions.    For the money I would recommend them to anyone.

Mine are also my all year round and all weather , drove the RS-R in to work today in the worst conditions , flooded roads on dual carriageways , no problem.

Anyone know the widths of the Yokohamas in comparison?

do you just want the actual width of the tyre once fitted ?

I can measure my AD08 front 205/45R17's and rear 235/40R17's if you wish  thumbsup

I have now had custom centre caps made for the new wheels and my TD's as well, and they look good. Cost £26.

If anyone wants some I can supply the correct size artwork they need, sizing and a contact to deal with.

I dont know this company but they were the most helpful and it took just two days from purchase to having them.

Some basic designs are here-

Do you get a complete center cap or just the graphics disc to stick on? The heat has killed mine.

How much are they new? I'd pay £20 posted (or handed to Chill when his engine comes to you).

If Martins are the complete centre cap ill probably go down that route and order a couple of sets.

Heres sthe wheels on the car. At first thought it looked a bit chavved, then after a while, I still think it looks a bit chavved up, but I have a slightly chavvy streak anyway so now like them. They rub when turning on the front running 205 AD08R's so will need to sort that, but liking them. Martin s http://s568.photobuc...792409460787843
