I would have thought that you could justify from a safety point of view fitting a 5 point and having an ineffective anti-submarine belt because this just makes it equivalent to a 4 point, although it might look a bit silly.

If you do fancy a swap I am looking to sell my Luke 4 points and buy some 5/6 point ;)

What colour are your Luke four points?

Yerrrp. Think MSAR might sell them, these days, if you do decide you want a kit.

Funnily enough just tried to phone Malcolm. Though as these belts came from a VX220 (Ghand's VXR) I guess they already have the required anyway?

I remember that ther was one "pin" which was fix.

All the others was mouved when you open the Belt.

You have only to change this pin.

Agreed but in the cam-lock I have the other pins are not removable. Not any way I can see anyway?

I think this is the answer. I have made this modification before and I vaguely remember that the locking pin is pushed in from behind.

The four non-locking pins are part of a single unit though, the other is simply a straight pin (rather than clipped at the edge to allow for easier removal and insertion) on a spring. The cam-lock I have doesn't allow this to be changed, certainly not according to Schroth, one of their UK dealers and my own eyes. Doesn't matter, as without the ASM shoulder belt it's not really the best idea to run it as a four point anyway.

The good news is my Schroth harnesses are now sold. Time to buy some new 4 points...
