I like how they designed new wheels for the new one.

There are bigger issues with the Ferrari F1 team, ignoring the engine which is *sort of* a different group, it's hard to get people to work for you when you're based in a different country. There is a reason the majority of the F1 teams have factories within a 50 mile radius in the UK, there's also a reason why Oxford Brooks and Cranfield offer motorsport engineering.

Me too. But things clearly weren't working under his leadership and they can't blame wind tunnel correlation problems any more. He may well have suffered because Di Montezemolo interferes too much but given Whitmarsh disappeared without trace, it was always going to happen with their current level of performance.

I suspect McLaren have a pretty robust gardening leave policy, so Whitmarsh will probably come back once that's complete, there are four potential places he could go.

Not just that. They seem to have a pretty robust gagging policy as well. Not sure I've seen a single utterance from MW since he went.

Whatever the accuracy or not of the sensor they still broke the rules about changing the monitoring method without the stewards express permission. Screw 'em.

The debate is higher up than that, which is simply one of clarifying if the technical directive is a rule, or opinion. There's already precedent with the tyre testing last year that it's opinion.
