Are you still going to get Matt Bentley to look at it if this improves the situation?

Plans are a little more radical than that Paul.

The thought has crossed my mind but no, Matt is going to develop a standalone ecu solution for the turbo now Lee's 2.2 SC one's finished. Although there are other benefits the main aim is to better control the way the boost is controlled. Hopefully work will start soon after I get back from Zandvoort.

Well, after replacing vac canister, both boost and vac solenoids and vacuum testing all the pipes, predictable for my car, it's made very little difference :(

Not yet, I'm running an external forge recirculation valve in parallel with a forge uprated internal recirc valve that replaced the rubber oem one. I'll be running each on their own next and if that doesn't work it can only be either the actuator or map. I'm leaving the actuator till last as I don't have an accurate way of measuring the pre load, it'll all be a bit hit and miss so just making sure everything else is OK first.

Did you swap out the MAP sensor, it's not unheard of for them to fail.

I've also noticed the overboost has gone from 20psi to 22psi for some inexplicable reason, I'm a little reluctant to try adjusting it as it's a couple of years old now so I fully expect the rod to shear
