Supercharger? Brings a new dimension to ownership (Trevor straight line pace!) and I might have a kit if you wanted the low down on what's involved.. ;) And to add on the V6 not being a drivers cars, although I haven't driven one myself, it was one of EVO magazine favourites, esp the mk2 (just look at contempory reviews), even though it may be no quicker point to point than a NA VX, doesn't mean it's not a drivers car with a lot of fun and experience to be had...

I agree with the above and that comes from someone who has owned one :) they are just a different type of drivers car to the vx220.

Maybe I was a bit loose with my wording, I was trying to say less efficient point to point but with the trade off of added lunacy! There's a mint low miles phase 2 for sale locally but it's nearly Exige money! I've been keeping an eye out for SC bits for a few months now but not having much luck so had all but given up! Where did you get your kit from Ross? What you driving around in just now?

Yeah I owned a mk1 clio v6 for around 3 years and my dad owned the mk2 (my dad preferred my mk1) the mk1 feels more raw to the mk2 in my eyes.Great cars! But they are a little underpowered for what they are, guess with weighing around 1400kg there no light weight! They do feel very special to drive compared to the Vx but the Vx is more fun/chuckable I'm my eyes. Great cars though

Is it just me or does the Clio look like it should be prop in the original Battlestar Galactica? :D

That's weird, I'd say it was one of the worst handling and most uninspiring cars I've ever driven, and I've driven a Vauxhall Vectra
