Tempted buy the gearbox, but id have to sell an OEM one I recently bought with a Quaife fitted.   What is the feel of this box like compared to OEM? And what diff options, if any, are available?   Cheers,   Josh..

A different dif is not needed in the M32 when used in a rear wheel drive set up

As in the F23 Quaife fits or you saying the OEM M32 open type diff is sufficient?

Josh..

It'll be a 86.5mm bore (0.5mm overbore) and 94.6mm stroke.  Max power is limited by what you believe the liners can take.  The buildbook says 400 bhp is the limit of the block liners but there's loads of info out there that says it can be taken higher with suitable precautions.

No plan really, was just wondering if it might be a suitable engine/spec if/when my current one expires.

might be a silly question but what is the approx vmax of this gearbox say at 7000rpm? or how much can this 6th gear drop your rpm compared to standard NA f23 gearing setup?

in am looking for a solution like an "eco" 6th gear to a standard NA box so i could do a comfy cruise at motorway speeds..eg ~2000-2500rpm at ~90mph but keep the same acceleration as standard NA in 1-5th gears..

cheers and happy new year from hungary

standard F23 in fifth at 7000rpm would be about 167mph, this box at 7000rpm in sixth would be about 206mph - thats never going to happen

So 3000rpm should be 71mph with a F23 and 88mph with this modified M32

edit: 5500rpm in sixth would be roughly 165mph, so a 1500rpm drop in revs compared to a 3.95 F23
