I didn't see any post from Jimmy saying the other people own part of the mould?
It was agreed we all would be paying for the mould so if we all paid we all own them .

I really don't think there's a lot of profit in them for the asking price its over £500 for a hardtop.
alternative view is there's a lot of money in the asking price of a hardtop... have a look at the price of fibreglass materials.
IMO, the reason they're £750 not £1500 is there isn't a fitting kit. Fix that and you can charge a lot more.

Your missing the main factor the price of labor and overheads fiberglass don't mould it's self when you buy it.
I've worked with enough fibreglass to know this, and frankly I wouldn't be producing coupe parts for £750. It's a pretty good price. I'm just saying that it's not the purchase cost, but the work required to identify a mounting approach.

Iv got a pair of s2 exige engine cover hinges to try.
Have the same (along with S1 Exige hinge) and it needs more than just the inges bolting on...

Joe does the elige use an S1 Exige hinge or something else?Do you want to see how my Elise Motorsport hinges the rear bootlid? Could actually work really well as to be honest it's the same design (as the above scoop is the same as the motorsport roof)
