No problem. The BBC has excellent experience in managing this stuff.

I liked Rory Reid. Also liked Chris Harris when he was at arms length, reviewing fast cars and not in the studio.
Sabine wasn't really in it, so no idea if she's any good or not. Eddie Jordan is out on principle, but (forgive me) I thought Matt Leblanc was a good anchor.
Star in a reasonably priced car is (and always was) a shocking piece of television and should go the way of the Cool Wall and Top Gear Dog, while anything that requires a clap-o-meter (especially to decide whose car is cool) should be burned with fire.
They dropped my favourite bit of the old TG. The three of them sitting there and exchanging laddish banter ("I looked on the internet and I found this...." anyone?) was the best bit of it. It needs a decent, credible automotive journo to come and complete the Leblanc/Reid duo.
Throw in a few 80s (you pick the era) cars vs their new equivalents and a TG Special and we're back in business.
Finally, because I know someone will suggest it, NO MOTORBIKES. I remember the show in years gone by and Steve Berry's segments used to jar.

You'll get me nostaligic for proper Top Gear talking like that, I liked Steve Berry. I also liked Tony Mason's rally reports.
Proper car reviews from Jezza and Quentin..
Those were the days...

I liked Steve Berry - "over the years, many times people have thought putting a car engine in a bike was a good idea. They were wrong..."
But his segments always seemed incongruous with the rest of the show.
William Woollard, Chris Goffey and his doppleganger, Noel Edmonds would never stand for motorbikes.
Which reminds me, Kate Humble was probably the worst TG presenter ever.

I'm actually excited at this so hoping it's good. A 'Star in a reasonably fast car" (GT86) should be a much better feature than the rally cross shite.
