Looks like your car is being humped by a horny VX!

The pass side lamp looks like one of the adjusters needs a repair, fiddly job but do-able.

I quite like those arches, can I aske where they came from and if the arch piece has the same radius as the OE arch?

Great work on the coupe hinges too, it's a constant debate on how to hinge these.  The roll bar seems the most desirable place but is quite impractical.  Hinging like you have done seems the most practical route to me thumbsup

The arches are from unique customs kings Lynn after a lot of searching for a arch that looked the same sort of radius as the vx it was fairly easy to make them fit fronts are 70mm wide and the rears are 100mm to cover the 9.5j rear wheels. As for what it's going to be used for road mainly and a few track day the main reason is I just enjoy building modified cars and the vx is a good base vehicle to start with. I'll post up some pictures of the vx's little brother that me and Dan have just completed it's 300kg lighter and running the same 1.8t 20v setup

I used the structural epoxy from easy composites.  2x50ml tubes did mine.

There for extra airflow I'm cutting the back of the boot out for cooling. That turbo will cook your sandwiches if you put your picknick in the boot with it

Nice long wishbones at the rear, well better than our stubby little jobbies on the VX anyway.

It's a Blaze RR.

Here's a little more progress on the lower engine mountings, the bushes I've chosen are from synergy suspension the centre was 9/16 so I turned them out to 16mm and turned some steel bushes to weld through the cars mountings.

I've mocked up the brakes, we're using 330mm Alfa discs all round with evora calipers, the fronts are relatively straightforward to mount the backs are going to be a bit tricky.

Posted Image

And I've started reworking the rear toe link arrangement.

I opened the holes out in the rear sub frame from 10mm to 14mm

Posted Image

The original steel center bushes for the wishbone bushes were 16mm od and 10.5 id, I made some new ones with an 18.5mm od and 14mm id

Posted Image

Posted Image

The toe links themselves are 25mm od 7075 aluminum, with a m16 rose joint at the sub frame and a much larger than standard track rod end at the hub.

There's plenty more work to be done on the subframe mounting yet.
