:yeahthat:

As long as you're overall tyre plus wheel rolling radius is as close as possible to standard then no problems.

You should all look into buying TD's or something else with the 16" 17" combo.

These wheels rub, stick out too far, tyres are difficult to find in the correct sizes with branded names stamped on the side wall so imho look else where.

We cant all have Atc Dtc's. :P

These look great and obviously work on some peoples cars. I wished I could have kept them but on my car they rubbed at the front even when I spent a load of time fitting inserts, and the car lost all its agility and feel. I believe this could have been improved by a geo to match those wheels but still wanted to use my TD's with 888's on track as I love the way my car feels as it is.

Vocky found that without changing his geo just fitting these wheels it totally changed the geo and had to be notably changed. I'm sure he can give more details than me on exactly what was wrong.

They transform and modernise totally how a vx looks and if you can get them to work, worth every penny.

as Martin mentioned above, on my car the tracking was knocked out of alignment - front went toe in and the rear toe out.

I reset the tracking and everything went back to normal - well I suppose it was just a 'tiny bit' better than with standard wheels  :P

Interesting. I had a GEO done at BOT not long after the DTC's went on when switching to Nitrons. Maybe that helped then. I still have what I consider too much bump steer though.

I also fitted my atc dtc's at the same time as new shocks and had a geo almost instantly at Steve Guglielmi. 👍

Mine handles beautifully on either set of DTCs, with either the Conti's (on the black set) or the Federals (on the light metallic grey set.) ...and either set looks awesome. #FACT

The ATC centre caps look shite.  Make these yourself (I'm about to for other wheels).  3mm thick, genuine carbon fibre discs off fleabay, order cut to a specific diameter.  Drill the carbon fibre, countersink and insert M2/3// (take your pick) stainless steel countersunk screws with the head polished, afix disc to wheels with silicon from the rear or with a small fixing bar internally diagonally across held by two of the set screws.  I've already made one set with the VX Griffin taken from OEM centre caps but plain looks better.  And of course having gone to all that trouble, finish off the look properly with chromed and polished wheel bolts rather than the crappy OEM ones.

I notice he has stainless steel valves.  I toyed with the idea of those but the problem is they're so heavy they put the wheel well out of balance and need to be compensated for.

Thanks for your help ;)

With a carbon sheet, the centercap will be flat. On this pic, it seems to be cambered, which looks better.

I will wait to put my hand on the  rims to decide what I could do.

I will put aluminium valves too.
