There will not be problem with passengers. Janet will not be coming as last time she spent the day at Bedford I forced her into a few laps and she did not enjoy it!!!. Becoming tempted myself by the roll call building up here!

Tempted as a good way to finish off the season. Any problem taking passengers on this? Anyone else taking their Mrs?
chinky chinky

I'm booked and I'm taking my other half booked as a passenger - she'd kill me if I didn't. :saw:

She's been around Brunters a few times and really enjoyed it after working through her nerves. thumbsup This is a kinda late birthday present so I'm going to hog all the driving this time. ;) rallly

Is £150 an average price for a trackday?

£150 is a good price for Bedford. RMA charge £225 :o

It's definately worth the extra £50 over Brunters or Elvington. Don't forget, not only is there more run off that almost anywhere else, but the track is more than 4 miles long!

I wonder if anyone has created a Bebford GT track for GPL  Managed to find a video on JimboCam, but the camera angle wasn't perfect...

Yeah, Grand Prix Legends - based on 1960s racers. Very old, but undoubtedly the most realistic racing sim ever made in terms of car dynamics. Unbelievably hard too, but gives you a real appreciation of cause and effect in RWD cars as the cars in the game are amazingly sensitive (as they were in real life), so lifting off mid corner, getting on the gas too early etc all have really obvious effects. People have created most tracks in the world for GPL now, but it doesn't look like anyone's done Bedford (not surprisingly!)

The Mrs says ok so we're in! Did you book the instruction?

Didn't book instruction. Wanted to go and have a play, might ask some more experienced drivers to passenger for some amateur tips (if you're not restricted to the one passenger).

I'll be booking a full instruction First Lotus day after this. thumbsup At the moment I'm learning some good stuff from Vicki B-H on GT4 Prelude! :D She really knows how to seduce you round a track! ;)

I'll probebly come. Will wait until after Anglesey before booking though. Anyway you girls, what's all this about a "season"? We real men were attacking Hethel's unforgiving confines in the p*ss rain last December........and I did a wet Cadwell in November....without insurance.... I've just read that back. Makes me look either rich or a stupid twat! And I'm not rich....

Im up for this. Never done a track day before and to quote the site - "(if a track day virgin or beginner then you must select beginner track instruction)" . Does this mean I've gotta cough up the £30 for instruction ? And what's the 'personal accident insurance' for £10 ? Sorry for the knobby never-done-a-track-day-before questions :P ps Foxy, I like your description mate "4 Foxy Vauxhall,VX220,Primer CONFIRMED " LOL
