A short write up of what I have done so far. Since I haven't been able to test it yet I don't know if it will work or not. Time will tell :) If you see any errors I have made, please let me know.

I took an ECU connector and 20cm harness from a Corsa 1.2.

Posted Image

I opened up the connector and used the tool in the photo to gently push the pins out. I tried too press some of them back in unused holes to make sure the pins were OK. When I felt like I could trust this technique I chose three pins with the colors I wanted.

Posted Image

I removed the ECU plugs (first I had to drill out the security bolt that hinders plug X31 to be removed).

Then I followed the guide on this page on how to open the connector:

http://www.corsa-c.c...age=1&_k=t99frq

Just be calm and gentle, and it won't break.

Posted Image

Looking at the stalk it shows that wire A is grey, B is red, C is blue and D is green.

Posted Image

Posted Image

According to previous posts A goes to pin 58, B to 12V, C to pin 41 and D to pin 9.

Now insert the three pins in the correct locations on the connector.

Posted Image

Close the connector with the three new pins and wires in it.

Posted Image

Complete it with harness tape and cable ties.

Next I removed the steering wheel, the column cowl and finally the indicator stalk. I installed the new stalk, connected four wires to it and ran the wires through the dash.

Posted Image

I haven't hooked up the red 12V wire yet but I ran the other blue, green and grey wires according to the photos below, through holes and cavities that magically appeared.

So hopefully I just need to connect the red wire to 12V and activate the cruise control with Op-Com :) Unfortunately it will take a month or so before I can try it :(

Nice guide!

I bought the spurious switch that is all over Ebay and it didn't operate the full/dip beam.  I would suggest you try that if the electrics are live.

Thanks for your advice! I just checked it and the full/dip beam worked fine :) Perhaps there was something wrong with yours?

I bought this one on Ebay:

I would be a little nervous about pulling the ecu plug apart. With the locking device open, the pinkish part of the plug, new pins with wire attached can be pushed in from the back. There is then little chance of anything falling out or moving. The location for the pins appear blocked by gel, but the pin will push straight through this.

Good idea! :) However, some pins needed a bit of force to be inserted (perhaps because they had already been used? New pins maybe slide in super easily?) and I'm not sure it would be possible to apply enough force on the wire from the outside in my case. Furthermore I wanted to verify that the pins were properly seated, which was easy when the plug is open. But perhaps that's possible with the plug being intact too? After all, it's not that difficult to take the plug apart.

Cruise control activated and the stalk buttons work, according to OPCOM. The engine starts and no warning lights or codes appear. So far so good :) But I won't be able to try it on the road yet.

Any update for an NA, particularly with dutch software?

I've a lot of 50 mph average cameras round here, so this would be most useful; can be hard just keeping the supercharger just ticking over!

Not so interesting to watch but anyway, here it is ;) I don't like the feeling of the stalk buttons though. https://youtu.be/29srXNIBPb0
