I'd be amazed if there was anything like 6 seconds available from a tyre change alone. From a worn out 595 to a new ZZR I found less than a second. Track conditions, heat and driver make more of a difference IMO.With all this talk of 6 seconds per lap... I am interested in stickies
(Currently run AD08s) Quick question though... with all (?) of the sticky options only available in a 195 front... how will this influence front end feel etc., as I currently run 205's.

Khumo V70a are available in 205 on a 16" inch rim (which if I remember correctly is what you have). They are very sticky indeed (might die quite quickly on a hot day though). Best front end tyre I've tried over the years, but frightfully expensive and wear incredibly quickly.
