Took my NA out for as spin today and all the kids who saw it from 8 - 16 all pointed and swooned.  At a set of lights two NEDS working past even made a point of shouting in the car and saying "cool car mister". So, I guess it must be cool  :)

Looking as some of these supercharged beasts tramping GT3s on youtube, I prefer a vauxhall to a lotus haha

come for a drive in mine, you will drive it home ;)
If only i had the extra cash...If I can sell my transporter for enough I will get a supercharged vx and save me somw hassle. The most uncool thing I have ever heard.... "It's a Proton, but has styling and handling from Lotus" I agree that vxs are awesome 'Unknown' cars though. If you drove one in America or somewhere where Vauxhall don't have the dreadful 'rep sales taxi' image, I imagine that they would be very very cool.

After spending sometime with a LOTUS insider ....I can honestly say that the Tubby or the LOTUS Europa was meant for the Proton company who didn't take it up !

So All you Tubby guys need to rebadge to Proton and the LOTI Europa gang too because the Turbo was made for Proton who backed it and then made Lotus and VX release the TURDBO.

All you NA owners if you don't know already should remember that LOTUS developed the Z22SE block for GM as part of a deal that gave us the VX.

So as we all know the only true to its form (designed and built) car on our platform is the VX220 ! Designed and built by Lotus including the power plant !!!  Others may carry the badge but have Jap power plants to boost reliability!

VX220 NA Rules .........Especially with the Dutch Brain !

Nothing to do how tall or wide...as long as your legs aren't the big part of being tall.. :)

I'm 5'10 and not sure there is another 7" of room (said the actress to the bishop). I'm really no expert on the subject. Hope it works out, do a build thread.
