Not finished yet but its looking hopefull to achieve a hinged coupe conversion with no external catches. They need to fit an additional gas strut as the one isnt strong enough. They also made and bonded an internal frame to allow the use of the std boot catch.

Pretty pleased with what theyve achieved so far and certainly the speed in which its all been done! Hoping to collect the car middle of next week. This should give me enough time to run in and map the car and get it ready for the National.

Looks nice and inventive, though I'd not be keen on losing all the rearward peripheral vision.

I'd worry about the hinges being very central. Looks like it could wobble a bit.

Welcome back, they are irritatingly difficult to get rid off entirely. Though it does sound a lot of repitition work to get it as nice as the last one you sold?!? :P

*of I expect better from you.

May have time to tackle the new rear diffuser prior to the National but well see. Also have some arches on route for a trial fit...may be a complete waste of time but well see. My current rear wing setup will also be up for sale soon also 😁

Car collected. New spoiler mocked up along with some other aero mods for the front and rear floor. Arches and wheels to spec next. Need to also have all the roof of seats out etc and for a cage along with sealing the cabin as currently theres a big gap around the top into the engine bay.....dont think scrutineers will like that!

Nice hinge solution, are you going cover those fixings with something suitable to stop the inevitable rust on them (due to 150 MPH winds + rain hitting them).

Hope you have enough power to overcome the drag on that nice looking double element wing, mine saps my speed a good deal.

That looks great!

Are they the side skirts from ebay? I was looking at those but they seem a pain to fit.

Hi Nev,

Car will predominately be used for track/race use so will also be prepped and cleaned after so shouldn't really have an issue. but i will go through all the fixings and change all required bolts to stainless. On another subject would you mind PM'ing me your current wheel sizes etc. Im planning some wider arches and need to source some new wheels. 182 rear 172 fronts.
