How are we getting screen shots, dig cam? Perhaps a new thread should be started stateing that just times and pic be posted so it doesn't get confusing. /runs downstairs for another GT4 stint.

God damn... I've spent all evening trying to break 8:37 and just got an 8:34, only to find I'm a second of you, TT . I reckon there's about 5 seconds of mistakes in there though, looking at the split times of various laps. Just one clean lap should be able to break into the 8:20s Decided to stick with the standard VXT now to learn the lines. Everything comes at far too quick a pace for my reactions with a 360bhp tuned monster for me to be able to be consistent and concentrate on lines. Deffo need a wheel, using part throttle and brake with the DS2 controller is a PITA...

Will you lot keep quiet. I'm going to end up buying a Playstation, GT4 and a steering wheel at this rate! Had a go of the demo machine in Curry's this afternoon. Was surprised to find that the previous person left the game set up with a Speedster on the Nordschleife! Did they know I was coming?!

Been practising with the VXT - still learning the track though. I reckon I've got about half of the bends nailed, the others I keep messing up. There's too many other distracting bits of the game for me to concentrate on hardcore 'ring times at the mo. I've been building up my car portfolio and messing about with the camera functions.

Reckon I may be able to get 8:26.5 with a good clean lap, but getting under that is going to be very very difficult

That is a very challenging circuit with some very difficult corners!

GT4 is just the greatest game ever A couple of points fro my couple of hours playing over the weekend The Mercedes Evo in one of the Licence tests is amazing. You have to follow the pace car around for a whole lap of the ring - superb stuff. Managed a silver which I'm quite chuffed with. Almost had a Major Gav on the last corner though! The Nike One car is very cool. The two Italian street circuits are fantastic. The coffee break tests in the licence tests are frustrating Great game though

On >the other GT4 times thread< can we get it so that it builds up into a "top 5 times" for each class of VX? Perhaps with the condition that you can only appear once on it though i.e. speedK has loads of fast times but only his fastest would appear in the top 5, #2 in the top5 would be someone else etc....

Agreed - would be good to get some credit for a decent time even if it's not the fastest
