To those members who are itching to do so - please dont bother posting Miltek/Regal blah blah blah is proven and everything else is crud - because there are other options for us VX'rs in the UK that can work.

Chris

You should be there about now unloading your wallet ;)
Interested in seeing the results.

By the way have I mentioned the proven power gains from a milltek or regal system?

Sorry couldn't help it

enjoy and looking forward to the write up.

Just got back :P

Well they have produced a nice bit of kit! Nice big tail pipes as asked, plus they are rock solid and dont move.

Im very impressed with the noise front. I asked for it not to be loud when cruising or idling but to be loud on full beans, nice and track friendly - and they have done it! My Elise was just too loud - this is just fine! But he said he could have made it much louder.

I have taken some sound clips so judge for yourselves :)

BTW he is getting back to me on the group buy thingy if your interested. He has also taken some pics of the install which he is emailing me.

Pics [sorry about quality of my mobile]

Right the end???? Thats because I moved my mobile slightly closer to the exhaust. Its hard to record the sound of an exhaust.

It needs coking up now for it to produce the best sound - so I'm off down my local dealer for a couple of grams of some Peruvian dancing dust.

Sounds great, as you say recording an Exhaust is very hard to get the right affect over the internet. So that is with the Pre Cat removed then? Guy

Nope... not yet, I can def feel more torque. But I need a 200 cell cat and a remap before I get it RR'd for optimum setup.

Yes - off the top of his head around £150-£200 IIRC.... although he said he needs to check first and get back to me.

I've had a custom built (designed by me) exhaust on my VXT for years and on rolling roads its producing just as good gains as a miltek and cost me a LOT less :D . If you get someone that knows his stuff then its a good way to go.
