All the bends were crush bent and although I could choose the bore it's not something you can guess at, bigger is not necessarily better in this case

No, I agree - thats why after talking to them I didnt go with a 2 1/2 inch pipe that I initially decided on. He discussed tests they had done on a Jap car [cant remember what it was] with different bore exhausts they played with and the different results they produced. Bigger bore - more BHP, Smaller - more torque.

They seem very well sought after with new porkers going there for full systems. Not to mention the Skylines etc. I was very impressed - and will not have any crap installed on any of my cars.

To those members who are itching to do so - please dont bother posting Miltek/Regal blah blah blah is proven and everything else is crud - because there are other options for us VX'rs in the UK that can work.

Dont know if they have a RR - but they do loads of work on jap imports. Just like on their 1000bhp GTR I was looking at today. So I think they might work with someone local.

No probs bud. I think we should organise a mini Midlands meet after I get things fitted [not this weekend] so you can have a sample. Lets hope it will be worth sampling! :P

Nope - more like £380. Plus you cant tailor it to do what you want - hence the custom exhuast. It was dropped off 8:30 morning and they have been working on it since.

Mee too. :groupjump: FWIW, Piper sent me this quote for a VX220 NA BAckbox: 1 x TVX220SF = £335.00 1 x P&P = £10.00 VAT = £60.38 TOTAL = £405.38 ....Then add £100 for fitting at a decent place and you're up to £500. So if these guys can do everything, and -importantly- do it well, for £350, I'm in. We await the verdict Chris!

Just had a phone call from Jay - he's been working on it all day by himself [the normal engineers usually do them] because he wants it perfect - so its taken a little longer than expected - I'll be picking her up @ 6:45pm. Wish me luck! ;)

Hope it is as, or better, than expected. Enquire about group discount as there seems to be a queue forming to hear results then to buy one.... Seriously, £350 does seem v.good value. Look forward to hearing sound clip........ :)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but due to the huge task of designing, fabricating, ripping out the old system, fitting the new one, the price has gone up by £80. Still good VFM - just hope I will be happy with it ;)

Still good price...(subject to how it performs, of course).

At least they now have a better understanding of VX and removal of old system etc...!

the price has gone up by £80.

+ £30.00 for the tank of petrol you will use before you get home :D
