Mines probably being changed a little in the next week or so. I'm not a fan of my letterbox tailpipe, it was only ever ment to be temporary while i got one made. I dont have the spare cash at the moment to get it built, so may just go for the boring standard twins for a bit. I'd be interested to see a good picture of your twins chris, thats not ment in a poof way :D

Would that be because everyone assumes you have a Regal exhaust? :P

Ive just taken it out on another blatt - its coking up well, and really making a difference to the exhaust note. I have always bought second hand exhausts for my other cars so have already been 'coked'. I didnt think that 'coking in' would make any difference - but it actually does! I really want to give the VX a wash, polish, and wax - and give the zorst some Autosol but its too bloody hot with no shade

The coking effect is quite annoying. When I had the milltek put on my VX plans said it probably wouldn't sound right until it had done a few hundred miles. Fortunately the vx london to brighton was the next day and I managed to do lots of miles in one day which sorted that problem out!

Just gave the VX some attention and she is spotless so here are some decent pics and a vid.

Vid:- [sorry about the resolution forgot to change it :beat: ]

It took me 3 attempts because the exhaust kept blowing my camera over! :P

Maybe if you used it instead of polishing it all the time the disks would be de-zinc'd by now :P

I've had a custom built (designed by me) exhaust on my VXT for years and on rolling roads its producing just as good gains as a miltek and cost me a LOT less :D .

If you get someone that knows his stuff then its a good way to go.

Whereabouts did you get your custom exhaust made, does it sound as quiet as a Miltek etc, I'm dying to know :jump:
I'm thinking about going down this route too if its significantly cheaper, getting a little jealous since I hard snoopstah's na with a vse. The noise from it would put a spitfire to shame!

My rents heard me from a sufficient distance to greet me on their front drive today.... Milltek and viper ;) much louder would p*ss me off tbh  Sam....im sure Jinder would tell you to 'gtf' about your claims of being the loudest...and if Ad172 still had some eardrums and no tinitus im sure he would agree :P

It feels very sturdy and well put together!

Its getting louder the more I drive it due to the coking - it pops and bangs all the time though B)

But yes you can get it as loud as you want - not my cup of tea though.

The pipes do look alot like the Miltek dont they!

Defo louder than the MIltek! Do a search for the pistonheads tunnel run vids - Slow's VX is on there and is insanely loud on the beans!
