Those were 17" fronts not 16".

Front: 7x16 ET 35
Rear: 7,5x17 ET 30

So perfect for tires as 195/50R16 and 225/45R17 (A048 or 888)

For the price it was around 650€ (as I said already I bought it in France...as I'm living there :D)

Thorney, two members on this site already have them and posted saying they did way back when you specced you first posted mentioning about Team Dynamics wheels.

You can actually make out the tyre size R16 if you look carefully

My mistake then. According to TD these don't exist and have never done, they maybe exclusive to someone else hence they don't appear in any catelogs. However there aren't the correct offset for the car anyway (although I agree this maynot be that important to some). I've obviously borught this up with TD and am awaiting their response.

The reason we specced the ET's on the wheels we did with TD was that the car has a tendancy to understeer so a slightly wider track is good and it gave extra clearence for the AP kits should people wish to upgrade their brakes they could still have that option. On the rears we did have some clearence issues on the bodywork with wider track wheels so we kept with the 35ET as it meant that those with Nitrons who like to have the car as low as possible (a massive advantage on track but not on the road) wouldn't have any rear clearence issues. If the Euro's who have these are having no issues then I'd guess they're running the ride heights a little higher at the back to keep the clearance.

Has anyone anywhere got these in silver on a blue car. Pics please. I've been after wheels for a while but cant convince myself they look better than the originals even if they do work better, I dont want to ruin the look of the car. Martin s

The offset track is widened at both the front and rear of the car compared to standard wheels.

Compared to the VXR speedlines and OZ wheels the changes are as follows:
1mm wider front track
5mm wider rear track

The Exige uses

ET 31 Front
ET 38 Rear

and on the Exige S2 we used the Oz wheels are wore a hole though the outer arch in about 30 seconds. I'm not saying they don't fit but the Lotus ones certainly don't if you run a lower ride height.

I asked alanoo whether he had any problems at all with them running at a lower ride height...

No problem at all, i'm at 115/115 ride height wink.gif

John that was the Elise OZ motorsport wheels which have an offset of around ET18. The S2 Exige and Toyota engined Elises have very similar offset to the VX (rear subframe and wishbone design are based on VX rather than Elise). Not that I'm planning on fitting a set of Exige alloys or anything :D

I'd probably go for this if only it was available with a 17" front. :( Dont want to go to 16" because i'm a vain tart. :D Why are all the wheels available for the VX multispoke designs??? PITA to clean and aestheticaly, dont really suit such a boxy car IMO.

I think I can probably arrange a set with 17" fronts if you like?
