Mind you dh_si is putting the milltek on aswell

It's been on for a week now, and let me tell you the Viper and full Milltek are dangerous.

When you are overtaking the noise just makes you want to give it even more, it's fantastic!!!!! Oh so good, yet oh so bad!!!

Will be interesting to see how i am now matched against a standard NA at Elvington.

Just taken a mate at work out and he was impressed, the TT that hampered my progress may not of been though!!

Sounds good mate - you'll have to take me out for a spin next time you're around Furzton in MK... I've got the viper and toying with the idea of a sports exhaust. Been in a car with the VX sports backbox but not been in an NA with Milltek.

no worries, Jase. I'll be popping in to my sisters later today, around 4.30, she lives just off Simonsbath. I've pm'ed you my mobile number, so if you're about give us a call! If there is anyone else in MK who fancies a raz, give me a shout!

I do hope the powertec's filteration level is better than a Blitz stainless mesh filter. As it is stainless mesh, there is no oil involved. Oil found in Foam and Cotton filters has been the cause of some AMM failures. Downside is, with Cotton and Foam, the oil is used to catch smaller particulants. Without the oil, a lot of crap could get in, potentially damaging the bores and turbo. I don't want to put people off the Powertec though, as it does sound great. I heard Vicki's Astra (Vicki from PVD that is) on the roller's with this fitted and it did sound awesome at full belt! Pete, what's the claim's from the Powertec manufacturer on filteration levels ?

OK, I'm back home now. Who fancies a little spin? I say meet up somewhere on one side of MK, have a little razz to the other side, have a pint and a chat. Oh and you can both take me out in your cars so I can check out the mods. Si - if you're going to your sisters at 4:30 then why not come over to MK an hour earlier... Doesn't have to be MK, Northampton is cool with me too. Apologies people for taking this off topic.

Firstly this SL1 kit was £99.95, not the £120 Cheeky thought :)

The Powertec kits use a very high quality mesh, which offers 80% better efficiency than rival stainless mesh filters.

Sound's like a good bit of kit then. Mesh is the best sounding induction available, next to induction trumpets with no filters!

Well at least I will have a good excuse when I am slowest at Bedford (no chip, no Miltek, no induction kit....I did wash it today (first time since the Xmas event) so it is lighter!)

It would be interesting to rolling road the same car in as similar conditions as possible every 5k miles or so to see how much extra power is liberated by the engine freeing up. Mine does feel smoother now after 17.5k miles than it did at 13k :)...particularly over 70mph
