That's exactly right.
Front calipers on the rear, AP 4-pot on the front and adjustable proportional valve close to the (hydraulic) handbrake :)
ABS has been removed completely .

i thought the abs wheel sensors were going to also drive the traction control , I wanted to do the same to drive a data logger.

its an amazing ongoing project

ABS wheel sensor directly feed into the Racelogic TC, don't need the ABS circuit (box) for that. Perhaps a resistor network inside the ABS-electronics helps to improve signal strength comming from the wheel sensors, but I'm not sure on that.
The tacho signal input is comming from there (some ABS-unit output) and I have not figured out how the ABS-sensor input is translated into speed pulse output (yet).

Not the best picture, but this is all that's left of the ABS. Electronics are only left there to feed the tacho signal.
After some initial problems (caused by a broken connector) TC works fine.

Yes. Theory that those are supposed to break before the subframe gets damaged

Manus, are you bringing the beast ot Croix and Abbeville at the end of March? Will be really good to see it in the metal (or GRP, at least).

I believe there's no GRP on this car anymore, except the windscreen frame.... the rest is all Carbon Fiber.

Manus, make sure to have it ready for Croix....
(the pax seat was promised over a year ago  )

Cheers buddy, all the best with the project. chinky chinky

It has been finished for almost a month now, big thanks to Plans Motorsport thumbsup
The car is road-legal in the Netherlands, passed its APK (MOT).

Some minor things to do, fire extinguisher upgrade, small adjustments on the boost controller, Video VBOX programming and other bits and pieces.
I will post a full story of he project soon B)

Cheers
Ian

The car has gained a couple of pounds, about 890kg with half a tank of fuel and perfectly weight-balanced. Engine remained at 405bhp although mapping is more lean, Lambda closer to 1.0, slightly more turbolag. It runs on 30% Methanol in the water injection system which gives better engine cooling but I can´t tell, given cold March road conditions, whether it effects performance much.
Good news that the carbon doors arrived at Schiphol today, which will help with Lexan side windows for another 15-20kg's  Aim is 870kg or less, ready to run.

niiice - so hows it drive?

Think you should remove the "exige" sticker ;)

It drives great, marginal understeer in fast corners. Looking forward to get some higher temperatures in the tires.

If I can find a Vauxhall/Opel sticker/badge which fits, I think I´ll put it on. Also no problem with keeping it as it is now, this car is more Lotus then the Exige or Elise, as the Z20LET engine was (partly?) developed by Lotus and the Rover or Toyota engines were not :P (Knowing for sure Exige and Elise owners will disagree with me).

Interesting to hear the weight. Do you still have aircon and the like? Weighed in the Europa this morning at 823kg which is heavy in my books after my 720kg SC Honda Exige. Did you weigh the bodywork before you fitted it?
