I'm also wondering whether the root that Vocky is going down with the LSJ engine is too difficult for an amateur mechanic like me! Does anyone know if he's put a post on what actually he's doing?
Cheers Simon
Saw that Vocky sold his 2,4 inlet etc. and was wondering what he is up to now. You say he is going the LSJ route? Interresting, as I have such an engine waiting in my garage...

No, Vocky is going the CDTI route
Or maybe it was the E85 route ?
Or maybe any of those ones ?

As in the title, I'm really considering this as an option, but after searching I see figures of £8K discussed (including other work) which makes it unclear how much it costs on it's own.
I need to convince the wife, as I have £4K saved up, so will need to put the remainder on the credit card.
Anyone know how much it would cost to get 250BHP?

I think after seeing Courtney's video of the glowing manifold, I'll be sticking with the OEM or a Dbilis cast manifold- Jesus that looks hot!
Nick how much to you want for your system?
have you got a link to the vid?
