How much intrest would there be for the weapon-r 2-1 section as i will be tacking
mine together towards the end of july, then my boss will tig weld it for me.

Maybe i ask him if he'd be intrested/get a price to do a few  .

Are we talking about supplying completed manifolds or just a welding service? That is, who will supply the weaponR and other materials needed?

I have spoken to my boss and he's willing to make up a number of manifolds, we will get my car in
towards the end of july and make two jigs offering 2.25" and 2.5" complete 2-1 sections ending
at the u-bend.

Yes, will included a magnaflow 200 cell cat as they seem to have good reviews on z22se.

There may be a 4-2-1 in the pipeline, 2.5" system Presumably 1+3 / 2+4 is the best way to match the pairs

They already make VX exhausts - I'll speak to them tomorrow again, as it isn't confirmed yet (and I'll have to sacrifice my car for a couple of weeks!)

I don't want to say who without anything being confirmed - if this doesn't come off I'll try another avenue :) Not Piper tho (I dont like outward rolled tailpipes :D)

Current plan is full system, with the same 3 bolt flange position to the U-bend / backbox It may also be possible to make it slip-on, so those who already have a system could cut the pipe and fit the manifold section up to the CAT, won't know for a while yet tho Only 1337 posts  Anyhoo.. back to the pairing order! :)

Please don't let it be Larini or 2Bular, going by how long delivery from both of them is, you can kiss goodbye to your car for the winter!

I know Courtenays were trying to convince Larini to design a new system with a larger trackday safe back box to suit the SC cars and rumour was Milltek were working on a 2.5" system but haven't heard any more on that for nearly a year.

Presumably 1+3 / 2+4 is the best way to match the pairs

Not sure. I've read pro's and cons for both configurations and I think it depends on the application, to some extent. Whether it's NA or FI. Hopefully somebody who understands it properly will be along shortly.....

By the sounds of it a simpler 4-1 is best for FI, and ideally a larger bore

tbh in "our state of tune" even upto and way beyond Vockys level its not really going to matter much which 4-2-1 or 4-1 you use really.... ok mid range torque might get a mild lift/push down but tbh its not going to be much compared with the overall gain higer up the rev range etc (the area under the graph will still be bigger so its a win). Look at the thread on T116 with Winstars exhaust design as a good starter for 10 (is this the last post before the black hole kills us all)

I thought 2 tubular were making a 4-2-1 mainfold for the na. Last time I spoke to Jim I'm sure that was what was happening. Martin s ps Dont understand all the things about 2 tubular taking so long. I spoke to Jim re a new back box and had it within a month!!!! (I know, I know, thats not the norm, but he has one very happy customer in me!).

well when i asked about a catback system 3 times i never got a reply thats one reason im less inlined to use him, if responsiveness picks up i dont have a problem but untill then im happy going elsewhere.

I don't know many other (high perf.) engines running 1+2 & 3+4 primaries, so I'm still convinced that a proper designed 1+4 & 2+3 manifold will be beneficial for the 2,2...
