fcuk paying £300 odd for a pro alloy rad, I think I'll get an engine cover to do the same job :D

Dean, Mine hits 106 in traffic all the time, and does it wether its winter or summer, hot/cold/wet/snowing etc so the seasons have sod all to do with that bit.

Chris, have you got an alloy rad/the PA fat rad fitted per chance?

yea actually i do.. that might be why i never see 100degs at all .. unless its really hot..

who knows.

I did this mod and have to report that it didnt go as smoothly as other ppls have. the cover is held in place with studs both on the engine and on the cover so it is def positioned correctly. problem is its rubbing on the bootlid and the side of the rear clam which has made the paint etc wear off and now there is white dust on it everytime i open the boot :( I have some aluminium sheet about so i think ill make some wear pads and glue them onto the clam.
