wish i never saw this!! you have got me thinking now....... DAM YOU!

Noooooo. Don't do it Joe. You and 380bhp would be a lethal combination. Think how easily you spin that car with 150bhp. :P :D

I can see the owners tyre bills will be increasing significantly, over the coming months.

I've just phoned Brands Hatch to warn them , they need bigger gravel traps.

Anyway it wasn't a spin, just a small detour :) ;)

We've been playing with a new Harrup HTV Supercharger. This unit is a direct replacement for the LSJ M62 with an output of 1.3L VS the M62's 1.0L litre.
The engine is a 2.2 with Steel Rods, Deleted Balancer Shafts, Modified Head and Cams, 470cc injectors, complete with an awesome 3" 2bular system the Manifold is a 4 into 1 design with 2" primaries- thanks Jim.

359.93 BHP & 287.35 LBS FT. You can also see that we have not hit peak power, just smacked the limiter set @ 7000rpm!! Yes we were tempted to rev it further but we have maxed the fuel pump, so thought better off it

   Now weve got to turn it all down as our brief for the build was 300bhp !! and we are a little over the spec for the pistons!!! Jon

I assume running the Harrup and associated increase in fuelling requirements means it's back to the original piggyback ECU and decompression plates, Jon?

Could you get the necessary drop in compression ratio from fitting some fancy uprated pistons as well? Dual benefit of dropped compression ratio and increased power/heat reliability in one hit.

No,on the piggyback ecu it's running on the main one. I think I will leave it at about 320bhp as I wasn't expecting 360 ish. I forgot to plan ahead :beat: ,I normally do that as well. My fault I will now have to strip the engine down again and put in some low com pistons, but thats later when the wife's away (someone recommended a spa weekend  ). O well I will just have to live with 320bhp for a while. I bet the price of NA goes up now  Just add a small little conversion and wheeeeeee

Is this with a Z22SE head or a LSJ one ? 380bhp are definitely easily acheivable with the TVS, that would be my target if I go that way ;)
