zoobeef, just had to re-do my U bend and used just over 2m for just the U bend (3" of hard round steel )

mini update! very big thank you to leevx2.2 for coming round today to help fit my new 4.17 gearbox which vocky built and included a quickshifter on it and also a much better gearbox breather pipe! it went straight on today very nice for a change! then we cracked onto stripping down the vx suspension so we got it fully in the air, once the back was on stands the big brute Lee lifted up the front end of the car for me to put the remainder blocks in hes a gorilla managed to strip down all the wishbones at the back and then one of the fronts down so just one left to go, not bad for 5hrs work! jobs for tomorrow include: remove pax front wishbones fit braided brake lines (many thanks fabrice) drain, bleed, refill with ATS superblue brake fluid (Bleed brakes and clutch!) fit anti roll bar fit ported and polished inlet manifold fit custom air pipe with big ass air filter final fit of charge cooler tank re fit clam etc jobs for sunday with the help of cliffie is to: hub carrier bolts fit super pro bushes fit all new ball joints fit new track rod ends re fit all suspension, wishbones etc put wheels on then wait until monday and book a geo little excited to see how it will perform! thanks again vocky, techie, leevx2.2, cliffie and Fab!

mine are much lower than you high powered supercharged boys and it really eats me up inside knowing you have 70 BHP more than me.

got alot done today, thanks alot vocky for coming over and helping with a couple of nasty bolts! but a HUGE and i mean HUGE thanks to cliffie for doing it all today, my god thats a hell of alot of work!
