hmmm.... i guess i will have to look! so the pipe is accessible from under the front undertray then? the new pipe is indeed a work of art, it would seem that there shouldnt be any problems with that bleed nipple! how different is it from yours?

The bleed valve on mine is just round and isn't hex shaped, like yours. Means having to twat around with mole grips to move it. :(

Pretty sure there was no need to remove the front undertray when a certain member from MK decided he was going to replace mine (after we'd put the clam back on  ). thumbsup

Fitting the other end can be a bit of a pain as the hard pipe it connects to is free to move around in the sill, which makes life harder.

That's ok, just reach up next to the fuel tank and hold it with your other hand. thumbsup :P

Get Covertech to do it they did mine and simbas in 1 piece you can't tell its on! Plus you will always get a chip between the 3 pieces if you get armourfend!

What kind of price do they charge, Jonny?

I think it cost me about 600 quid the did the front upto the bonnet vents and did the sills and wing mirrors, sorry again for the delay!

The wrap looks good. Its on my to-do list for when i get back as i should have about 6 weeks of nothing to do. Did it use the full 10m just to do the u-bend with a 50% overlap!!? As ill be doing the downpipe all the way to the backbox.

Just so it keeps all the heat within the exhaust and then out the back of the car. Also the air in the exhaust slows down as it cools. Miht not need as much as i though then. Been doing some wrapping recently but itson a Mastiffs exhaust but thats about 4-5" diameter i think so didnt go very far

fair enough and there is a pricier way of doing it, you get it coated in something special which i cant remember what its called but it looks alot better than a wrap! i might get my U bend coated as it could do with a bit of modding anyway ;)

Yeah was it ceramic coating? The swedish guy on one of the other threads just had it done to his exhaust and then found out they had made it wrong :beat:
