can you not run the 3 point lap through the side holes , or would that be really uncomfortable and dig in?

Can't see how you could do it unless the side holes were fully opened up to the edge of the seat as the diagonal part of the belt would have to go through as well, in it's current guise. That would presumably weaken any side protection of the seat. Without seeing and trying the seat for sure, I can't tell how high the sides are. If it's not really that high maybe the lap belt would still work and hold you properly but I'm not sure I'd want to be the first to try it out in an accident.

They're motorsport seats, so designed for harnesses. But I *think* you might be able to use seat belts with them. You could unbolt the lower fixing (door side) of the seat belt, thread it over the top of the side of the seat, back though the side harness hole, and then bolt it back into position. The side harness slot would have to be enlarged more like the mog seat, but I have asked JK Composites whether this is possible for my seat and they said it would be no problem.

That wouldn't get round the high side problem though. But my Impression is if you get on the phone to them and tell them what you want they'll do it, if they can. I was speaking to a Westfield owner who had a pair of their seats, and he had problems fitting them in the passenger side. They had them back, modified them to suit, and returned them.

Anyway, I am going ahead. If anyone wants to try them on my car when I get them you are very welcome.
