Ok, as nobody was making any decisions I have booked the Best Western Hotel via booking.com, for €158 for 2 nights. When booking, in the comments box I asked for reserved parking for the duration of the stay. The room is secured on my card, payment on departure and I can cancel up til the 22nd March with no fee. Right, I've booked the Best Western Hotel Restaurant L'Auberge. I've done it direct through the Best Western website and got a double room for two nights with breakfast for €138. Bargain.

Just to keep you updated, I won't be coming.

I'd have loved to have come but what with the ring trip later in the year, the national, numerous track days, the VX endurance thing in May and a parachute jump to pay for this is just one VX adventure too many for my limited expenses to cope with.

I hope you all have a wonderful time with no incidents or breakdowns and I hope to see you all later in the year at some of the other events that I will be attending.

I better get something booked up for the first night then. Is anyone doing the whole weekender or just me ? Not sure which car I will be in as I have just bought another Raw Striker. Just need to finish building the s/c engine, drop it in the new car, put the new cars engine in the old Striker, sell the old car, get a cage fitted to the new one, oh my god what am I doing ? Could be in either depending on which one is back together, or I may leave the engine swap til after the Easter trip. Anyway, I will be there in something, probably in VX08 TXA.
