Just fitted mine, strangely no ABS light and low-speed ABS performance doesn't seem much better than before. I was deliberately provoking it to make sure the module was functioning so maybe it wasn’t a fair test. I haven't tried any high speed braking yet.

I am still running 17" fronts and also the front tyres are well worn compared to the back (which are brand new) but I thought I would notice the benefit of the 4 channel?

I'm suprised at that, but then I guess it is calibrated for 16" fronts. Total revalation on my car, you don't get ice mode anymore do you?

Yeah I wasn't sure what effect it would have with 17". My problem was that the ABS would trigger under normal road use, not something I've experienced in any other car. I never had the 'ice' problem. I’m planning to get 16" this year so it will be interesting to see what difference this makes. Anyway, thanks for organising the buy, at least I know this is as good as it gets without disabling it all together.

Yes mine used to trigger on places like slip roads coming off motorways if they were bumpy etc. Upgrading to 16" and wider tyres improved things, simply by offering more grip but when it did come on I'd get the "ice mode" thing with it feeling like you've let the brakes off and the car serging forward. Now with the new ECU it doesn't come on at all in normal driving and when I was forcing it to come on in the wet it just pulled the car up really well, none of the "ice mode" issues just very effective stopping. I have much more confidence in the car now.
