has anyone translated the instructions yet?
can't seem to figure out the status of the yellow light
The translation is supposted to be in english, unless you got yhe cheaper version with just chinese manual

http://chucklohr.com...a-4-manual.html
In a nutshell, to start you get about 3 little blinks. it's then running, so NO visual confirmation whatsoever during running.
(hence the concept of spycam)

Sample file:
http://www.auto-edit...ve/foto/TAG.zip
Extract it, and copy thix text file to the root of your camera memory card. ( so not in a subdirectory or anything)
As soon as you start the camera, the built in logic will pick up this file, extract the date/time and will insert it in every movie you will make with it, as from then. (same timestamp for all movies)
The logic will automatically delete the TAG file, once loaded in memory, so it looks dissapeared from memory card.
To change the date/time copy the TAG.txt with the new date you put in via notepad to the root of your camera memory again.
So every date/time change is a new excersize
Hope this makes sence.
thanks

Used my spy camera at Goodwood the other day and had great results. I bought 2 cameras and propose to use in a run and standby type of arrangement. I would like to be able to charge one of the cameras from the cars lighter socket. does anyone know of a suitable bit of kit to do this? Cheers in advance.
twin usb cigarette should step down the voltage to 5v supply, then you can use a standard usb A to micro B cable

I am an E-Commerce Exec for an online company who sells decent compatible cards. The link below is similar to the sort of quality you need to look for.
Micro SDHC

Thanks Sutol, I ran the test program and it seems my card is OK. Here are my results:-I've had very good results. It could be your card. There is a free download to test SD cards
take a look thru this, I found it useful clicky I found the software on that site it's called h2testw.exe
hth
Warning: Only 3773 of 3774 MByte tested.
Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 4.68 MByte/s
Reading speed: 8.43 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4
Standard SD cards will be rubbish. You need SDHC or Class 4 minimum for video/photos

I have the very same card as your link, Kingston SDHC 4GB, I'm always wary about buying cheap cards so tend to stick with a make I am familiar with.
I will continue to play with it, but might just send for a second one from the link you posted.

http://www.memorybit...oducts_id=17868 Its Trascend which are a decent make SDHC and class 6. Don't know how it compares to Kingston but it has lifetime warranty and is a class 6 so for that price can't grumble.
Put Spring12 in the discount code box for 12% off and you also get free delivery. I got mine in two days. Impressive service.
