What do you need to safeguard the SC just the rods or do you need the springs as well? Not really looking at increasing power


the Eagle steel rods are all you need to make a strong bottom end thumbsup

can't remember the power they are good for, but it's around 650 bhp

Just the rods really mate, and next would be pistons for anything over 300 to be safe.

Only need springs if you want to up the rev limit.

you can put me down for the rods, What else do i need for 300bhp @ 7000rpm? i want it 100% safe and reliable.

With the M62? A smaller pulley wheel, some blower cams and probably a good deal of head work including oversized valves.

Yes, will need machining to suit them.
