I quite enjoyed it. Although I think there are worse cars out there than the lexus they picked.

I much prefer James May's garage to Clarkson's. He really does like some seriously crap cars. That AMG SLS seems specifically targetted at impotent men in their 50's.

Latest episode starts this sunday, sure i've seen it mentioned somewhere recently but couldn't find it. anyway Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May return for a brand new series. In this first episode, Jeremy attempts to build a car that's even smaller than the famous Peel P50. He then tests it out on the streets of London before putting his concept to the ultimate test of credibility in the fearsome Dragons' Den. Meanwhile, James is testing the latest Bentley Continental GT Speed by taking it on a rally stage. Plus Richard is at the test track to unleash the sensational new Pagani Huayra hypercar before handing it over to The Stig for the lap of its lifetime. Homeland star Damian Lewis is the star in the Reasonably Priced Car.

Watched it since it started all those years ago but I just felt that last series the format was a bit tired.

I agree. I am watching more Youtube subscibed car programmes, but they are still very much in their infancy and so not great viewing.

I can't wait i spend half my live watching top gear and qi on dave. Watched the m600/aventador/mp4-12c one again yesterday. Awesome! Apparently Hamiltons on it again this series to beat vettels time as Hamilton did it in the wet last time.

I'll be watching, the only bits I don't like are the bits when they make themselves look stupid....but on purpose. Like the time when they go caravanning; James is reversing to hook up the caravan with Hamster shouting 'back....back.....back' as he does, when James gets closer, Hamster raises his voice but keeps saying 'BACK....BACK....BACK!!" until James of course, hits the caravan. Those bits are too put on for my liking, they are presenters, not actors.

That. I absolutely detest that bit, no matter who the guest is. If they binned that entirely, the show would instantly improve and give an extra 10 minutes of time for the main features.

I've got it be honest, I loved it and always have! I'm away for the weekend but will be watching it next week. I get home from work before the Mrs and put Dave on.

Also, I like that Damian Lewis fella - loved Homeland - so looking forward to all of it.

:yeahthat:

I thought he was excellent in Band of Brothers as well.

I just wish the star in the RPC feature was more about the stars cars, that I would find more interesting finding out what they've spent their huge fortunes on rather than it being a more Parkinson like interview.

I appreciate they are probably there to promote something. But anyone who's ever driven has a car story. I'd love to hear them.

I am looking forward to the new series. There is a lot of trash on at the moment so why not....it's good for a giggle!
