Also there has been fcuk all cars of note released this year to make you spunk yourself with them on tv... Lots of mundane crap has been released though.

That's a good point, I can't think of that many. That kit car you work on (that's in the first episode), the new Vanquish and ..........

Should be some tasty cars released this year though, the P1, the new Enzo, the new Porsche hypercar. Actually, how about them doing a road trip with those 3, that would be quite an epic episode.

But Duncan no doubt the top gear bashers will still give it a hard time even if it is 5 episodes.

I'd be amazed if they didn't.

That's because I know what I like when it comes to TG. Some of the shite such as building a rocket, SIARPC where they have no real interest in cars, and Hammond putting on his big kid persona. Really enjoyed the M600 Italy trip and a few of the others last season. Just seems like they are struggling to find new ideas....

I think that's the biggest problem with their features now. It's just the same thing done with a different car. This year we look to have Clarkson in an LFA being "shot" at by a Tucano, or similar, prop driven fighter trainer. So that'll be like the Apache vs Exige and even the tanks vs RRS on Salisbury Plain.

Hehe. Seriously though, TG seemed light on content. That is, more so than usual.

Bentley bit was usual unimaginative dross but I actually enjoyed the rest, even clarkson's bit.

Enjoyed the Pagani and the Bentley. P45 bit was not worth watching imho other than it crashing over bumps

1000 NM of torque, properly light, divine VElise like handling.... I can see it. The flaps more than likely hindered it.

Quite enjoyable, although the P45 bit dragged on a bit. Seeing a Bentley on a rally stage was quite a thing. I hated the chintzy interior of the Pagani and it's nowhere near as pretty as the Zonda. Does seem to shift though so I guess it has its place!
