I've just bought a 2.2 6 speed box and wondered if anyone has carried out this conversion
Of course not Vocky, you are always the pioneer/ guinea pig

Is it from an Alfa or summat?

The OBX items ?
Apparently the "F23" advertised LSD is in fact an "F35" one; they didn't fit F23 at least for the first batch
(seen on jbody.org I think)

problems: gear linkage - cable length ?
Think it was related to the way the cables interact with the lever mechanism... will see if I can dig out his contact details for you.
