I'm behind the family saloon! A great day, and I'd almost got the hang of it in the afternoon! Scary to start off with though! Thanks to techie for a great route to Cadwell and back, Max for the pax and Cliffie for pointing out that with my foot on the clutch in the car park I was rapidly rolling towards the fence! Might just have ruined the day! :o Good to put some new faces to names. chinky chinky

...Just an Awesome Day! Thanks Mike for the fun session on track. You certainly drive blimming well & also your car looked amazing! But today, I had the best track session EVER!!!! And it was with the best driven VX I've EVER come up against...and it was a Tubby!!! This particular tubby car was driven by a young VXT'ed or Dave. My god, he drove the wheels of it! Thanks Dave!

Thanks to techie for a great route to Cadwell and back,

We stopped at the same services at Grantham as you on the way back. The lady behind the counter was most excited to tell us she'd seen another earlier, when we all topped up on the way through.

Err, they fecked off into the distance forgetting everything we discussed in the paddock and were therefore sadly absent for the "photoshoot"

Hmmmm, I don't remember anyone saying we had to drive slowly. We did hang back for a while to see if you'd all catch up and then thought "ah feck it...."

My car is all hunky dory Techie, looks like a sticky rear caliper and a mucky air filter are to blame for my iffy noises on the return run.

Excellent. Glad it was nothing serious and easily sorted. thumbsup

Check you out Dave-o!! You were shaping up to be a handfull at Silverstone that wet day, seems you've improved yet again!!! Can't wait to get out with you again!!

Any changes to your spec..? I've heard rumours you're around 300bhp now...? What shocks you on?

Hi Jimmy, real shame you missed a great day yesterday, Cadwell is fricking awesome! I really appreciate Max's comment but he's being generous, I'm trying to upload a massive video at the moment so you can see for yourself.

Wish I did have 300 but a resent tweak to the map has got me to 280bhp with 306ft/lb torque on a cold run with further runs at normal running temps were 270bhp and 294ft/lb. If I could afford a charge cooler I'd be fairly confident of getting 300bhp+.

I'm still running my one way Nitrons but have changed to the light weight steering arms which has allowed me to run 2.24deg negative camber, this combined with my new toe settings have made a big difference.

Dave is being modest, he is the up and coming man to spar with. Really had Cadwell cracked and faster than me in at least two places. Full respect Dave, it is not just about the car...!

It's a kodak zi3 playsport. Surprisingly good quality for a £100 camera, although I think the new version is a bit more. 720p at 60 frames/second is really good for track days thumbsup
