.....I would love to go for either 2 or 3 way dampers, but I'm struggling to get my head round translating what the car's doing on track to what adjustments will need to be made on the dampers.

Finally found it, Stu-7 did some TESTING with his 3-way Nitrons, you might find it useful Max.

Just a thought, do you set the start line on track? don't know if it makes a difference but I always do. Sorry can't be of more help but mine just sort of worked from the box and I'm not just trying to rub it in :P

Nope, no setting the start line as I assumed that's what having the correct .dsf file for the circuit did. Thought that defined the start/finish and the tracks sectors. Maybe that file is screwed as though it's given me lap times in those files, there are no sector times, despite it looking like there's probably 6 sectors defined for Cadwell (can't tell for sure as Circuit Tools wont display Cadwell without having any data). :beat:

Should never have flogged the DL1 that I used to have. :beat: :beat:

Apparently the only difference setting the start line on the day is to give you live lap timing, once loaded into circuit tools the start line is automatically placed. Have you ever had it working correctly when connected with the Micro Input Module? Your the only person with a PB that I know of who has one and the only person who's having major problems. Coincidence?

Yep, worked fine for the various Silverstone and Cadwell visits last year. Think the upgrade has just flucked mine and removed my registration/activation. Teach me to be "clever" and upload all of the dsf layout files for the tracks I'm likely to ever visit, in advance.

Well, the Micro Input Module problem turned out to be an easy fix. The upgrade changed the way the PB spoke to the MIM and I needed to tell the PB to talk to the MIM by using a new menu they added with the upgrade. They haven't updated the manual yet to tell people this. :beat:

Still no clues on the lack of actual logging though. :(

I dunno about that blue thing but I spent a lap and a half behind this, belching out oil smoke and had to come in as I thought as I was going to chunder. :(

Yup, and I still applaud. Not sure how to get it to you or what to do with it. Too big for YouTube and I am not a video editor.

Ha, that driver was slightly insane. Thought I'd uploaded a image of him that I got when he came round the bottom of the mountain completely sideways and surprisingly caught it! The other slightly over the top driver was the red 996 GT3, caught him a couple of times purposefully over-steering at bottom of the Mountain and also at Barn corner. Was mental!

Returned to Cadwell on Saturday but unfortunately it was the busiest trackday I have ever done. Everytime I thought I was onto a good clear lap I hit traffic. I managed a 1m51 with traffic and later on in the afternoon did two 1m47's, came in to refuel and noticed the tyres were down to the canvas.. doh!
