Too true Turbobob, If you dont know the mapping, or how every component has been matched up then it could be a real headache trying to sort out a bad job if your unlucky. Its a must to buy a 'known' car and for the seller to disclose all details and receipts and general background of the mods is very important. Correct modifications run like the branches of a tree, one mod leads to another and all connect in a way. Cheers Ian

I wouldn't buy an unknown one but it's still good advice and appreciated. Mine has Exige Billies on it with lowering brackets and TD's with Toyo R1R's coming this week. Standard brakes at the moment but upgrade is a given if I go Stage 4. The best point for me was the money you'll get back - I'd be more happy to pay the 33p in the £ :D Cheers! Phil

Its always confuses me. I cant deploy 260bhp on most roads safely - if i wanted more power it would only be for the track, and I cant imagine keeping a track car super tidy...yet most of the powerful vxs ARE very tidy. I guess it just takes a lot of effort.

There is money to be saved George. But if you buy an unknown stage 4, it could be a bottomless money pit.

 and buying a.known one isn't?

No argument that a Stage 2 is probably a more useable car on a daily basis but there is something about the insane rush when you nail something truly powerful :)

It's already been said earlier but unless your on a track or a bypass then there's no satisfaction. I was defiantly faster on the road in my stage 2 than stage 4. And a hole lot more reliable!!!
