Are the red blobs so you can see if something has loosened? Or do you spanner with a nosebleed?

Al, Now I see why you've not bothered doing the window wobble, too trivial!!!!!! You're a genius.  A future 'how to book' for your pension?

heat has allows been a concern for me in such a small compact bay

my oil temps in there current setup fair ok for road use but rise quickly after afew 8-10 full boost blasts enough to know that sustained track work will cause me some issue, also the cooler the oil the higher oil pressure which is good

my plan is to move the oil cooler and turbo cooler to outside the engine bay onto the side panels in clear air, they will be located in alloy covers and i will have one o feach side which also helps reduce he pressure drop in the oil lines as they will be shorted

to help with this i needed to make the side panels more taught so started to refit a flat floor setup, still needs some work and a engine inspection panel making for the centre

current setup

little more work tonight, sorry for poor pic quality

rad and cooler off to reveal turbo cooler

Posted Image

Posted Image

turbo cooler removed, oil cooler left in for now, you can see how tight it is for space its fair to say

Posted Image

basically my aim to to mount both cooler on each side of the car like th below pictures will illustrate, they will be covered in by alloy to channel the air in and out, further to this is i plan to have a extended floor section to also help remove hot air from the bay into the oil/water cooler low pressure area

that is that plan anyway

cooler a this oriantation, with the inlet facing inwards of course

Posted Image

Posted Image

another advantage is the shorted oil cooler lines, they will go from 3 foot there 3 foot back to 6" each so i should have a higher oil pressure in theory

will make the templates for the alloy side pods from card this weekend all being well
