Let's clear one thing up Polyurathane bushes and Ertacetal are essentially the same thing in terms of physical properties

Different grades and different shore properties of either material must be available though?

That's because you've never actually driven the car with them fitted, for them to bed in a bit. :P

I've got the Autobush variety on mine and the wishbones droop nicely when the car is jacked up.

That's not what Joe means.

When you fit the wishbone only (no hub etc) the wishbone does not move freely. Having said that, the Nitron ones I tried didn't either but they were a load easier to move.

Wide range with polyurathane, not with Ertacetal. However I would be surprised if they ended up significantly different from one another considering they are being designed for the same application.

Did your mother never tell you about the proper use of lubrication, young man? I fear what this will bring, but I get full droop on mine with the hubs on. They were a little stiff to start with though.

No.

Polyurathane and Ertacetal are not the same.

Ertacetal is hard (think like nylon), Polyurathane is soft

try pushing your finger nail into both and see what happens...

Talk about thread drift, arbs, tyres and now bushes. Next? Maybe someone could change the thread title to 'a general discussion about suspension that sometimes gets heated'

Me and the VX never undertake. We are very law abiding.

Drifting...I'm good at that too, as I discovered on my drifting day at Santa pod.
