I have a few options atm.... Think I'm going to go with a Veccy ECU that's been blanked before removing from car.. Send to CS for basemap.. once got it back drive myself to CS for fresh remap, because i have a bigger exhaust and will make more power  :tt:

Oh and find Joe in the mean time as he has my CC rad

So far half the content here is related to forgetting to swap all the ECU/keys bits, worst project thread eva! :D

option? buy yourself any veccy ECU, pay and send it to crazy dutch man to have it all matched up and the crazy Dutch remap. Then never have to drive to CS at all and sell current ECU to someone about SC.

sell current ECU to someone about SC.

Which is worthless, given the fact it's useless without the other bits.

If you work our the cost in fuel and days hols to get it mapped I doubt you'd be be far off the Dutch price.

:s this I am worried about. Stand alone ecu? Cost is 140 for ecu, transponder and chips 150 for CS to fiddle with it so it actually reads the same as the white car ecu. 100ish for a fresh remap. Not bothered about taking holiday as I have more then I need/use anyway

What do you mean standalone?

With the 400isch you describe, you're back up and running.

I think the battery is usually lots of clicking, a single click could be a relay? Check the boot relays are in properly, I remember the yellow one not being a great fit.

what I did was unplug the old immobilizer barrel surround thing and then plugged my old one in and sat the old key on it while the white key was in the ignition..

anyway I thought it would just turn over without firing like before if it was still immobilizer?

Yeah, it would still turn over if the immobiliser was activated/not disarmed. Sounds like a relay or loose connection at the battery or starter
