It's embarassing that you have had your car rebuilt and sprayed quicker that it has taken me to change the radiator

It's all back together Lou but I'm not happy with the panel gaps and I think I have an air lock as I can't get the radiator warm.

The plan is to keep it off the road now for the winter, clam off again to sort out the bonnet alignment, wish bones powder coated, new ball joints, drop links, track rod ends, bushes and maybe some nice bright red paint on the calipers. :)

Quick update. Just heard from solicitor who is dealing with my compensation case for the crash. I have been getting annoyed cos it's taking so long and could use the cash. Anyway, turns out the delay is down the the fact that... The other driver is now dead. Puts things in perspective.

Let me be very clear that all parties were walking and talking afterwards. He was old so I'm assuming (hoping) his unfortunate death is unrelated :-(

How very convenient  But seriously, that's a real shame, I hope his family weren't getting bombarded by letters and calls :( What was the compensation for?

Ah poor sod, bet the stress of dealing with insurance companies and the prospect of heading to jail for dangerous driving just finished him off :-(

I just laughed at that while in the middle of the office and then had to think of an excuse to explain why I was laughing - somehow I didn't think the joke would translate well...
