Slow progress: cheque is in the post from insurance company for the car. Repairs are underway and the structure is back together. Just needs finishing then the respray. Should be done next week! Getting the wheels, V, badge, side vents, window surround and wing mirrors all done gloss black to set off the Mexico Blie. Splitters and spoiler should complete the look. After these last two items if anyone has some for sale (especially carbon!).
Cannot wait. I miss driving it so much and can't wait to see the back of this nausea inducing 116d.

Good to hear! It looks like it will be done before I venture up that way. Could be the weekend of the 19th HOWEVER.... I know I am going up in the daily for that weekend, so would be a week / two weeks after that! By then you have your own! Sorry
Plus feature is, if your blue matches my blue I will be taking mine up there for front end resprays from now on

Only seen the pic but quite amazed how he's put it back together. Drivers side wing and sill also repaired so bodywork will hopefully be better than its ever been since it rolled off the production line.

Colour now on. Looks gorgeous. Inside doors and sills to do then black detailing. Dave was up until 4am getting the paint on so it's ready in time for my next shift, what a legend. Pic to follow.
