I have a funny feeling Seb will keep #1 to himself...So bets on who takes what numbers?

I think the number of points should be fixed , so you can compare year to year , regardless of number of races , so 1000 points the maximum for a perfect season , then split that up across the races with a weighting.

a blend between the 2013 Ferrari F138 and the 1988 Ferrari F1/88

Be a much better solution, specially if the money was divided across the teams evenly.
Provide them all with a fund to go racing then prize money on top.
Instead of pay the top teams masses and the lower teams much less.
Also get rid of the Ferrari bung.
Lower teams still pay the same figures to go racing so they can never compete.

The money they win barely scratches the surface of the cost of running the race team.
Red bull racing is just part of red bull drinks marketing budget. A quarter of it actually. Great marketing

Vettel agrees with me, he thinks the double points thing is stupid as well.

I'd give Monaco the least points as its not somewhere that you can race even if you want to

It's a stupid decision and I hope it is reversed. May as well have the the championship decided at the final race and forget any points during the year.
Apparently they wanted to double the points for the last four races! Surprisingly Red Bull objected.
Spice up the points with some for Pole position, fastest practice lap, most laps for the weekend, fastest lap and of course race win...
Edit: make Vettel drink 3 cans of Red Bull before the race - see how well he does then ;-)
