Bit of an update, got the opportunity to have Robin from REVO USA have a look at my car and do some live mapping.

We took the car out and did some data logging while he made some changes to assess where we had head room. Then returned to the workshop and hooked up the hub dyno.

Robin then tailored the map to my car, noting that he could tell the shorter charge run had made a difference to the what he would see on the cars the engine belongs in, he could see it in the boost response, and how well the charge cooler was working, never going over 30 deg C. Some other differences with my setup allowed him more freedom too. It was clear to me he really knew what he was doing and had a lot of experience with this engine.

I believe after I left he also said how impressed he was with my car on the road and wanted one. He was very surprised to hear it did not have an LSD or TC as it put the power down so well.

It was already very very quick and running around 290bhp@wheels as I had not turned it up.

After turning it up on the SPS selector and subsequently the fine tuning the results are as follows....

Thanks Robin and the other guys at REVO Daventry who made me very welcome considering I was not being charged anything extra over the original remap.

And thanks to DG for sorting out the appointment ;)

Also recorded MPG on 180 mile trip to Daventry, 38.74mpg, mostly motorway but as you can imagine it's hard to resist using the power occasionally :)

38 MPG is impressive. How much boost do you need to make 325 BHP ?

Not checked but I think its 1.4-1.5 region normally on a stage2+ tfsi. Will log it soon and find out.

Steve, Robin gave me the following peak power for flywheel output 373.7 bhp 403.5 ft/lb Not bad for a stock 2ltr turbo on stock internals and just custom intake, exhaust. Cc and uprated HPFP Mpg for such performance really is a bonus ;) DG

Naaah, don't buy a turbo car, they're rubbish ;) All that power is unusable... (if you have balls the size of peas!)

I really love this Picture.
A question, what is the rear tire dimension you are using on the tires on the Picture?
And which ET are you using?

Been a while but have been far too busy driving. Sorted out a few finishing touches lately though.

For an idea of the acceleration, on the autobahn rolling in 2nd at 10mph took 13secs to hit 140mph. Nailing the throttle at 60mph in 6th gear left a Ferrari F12 quite easily and repeatedly.

To put that into context (for the "power denialists" on this site), that's 130 MPH gain in 13 seconds, so on average the speedo goes up 10 MPH per second. Though clearly at the lower speeds, I bet the speedo goes up maybe double or even triple that speed (ie 20 to 30 MPH per second) :)
